Are Topshop and ASOS the same thing?
While a shocking 2,500 jobs are at risk as a result of the closure of stores, Asos will retain some of the design and purchasing teams at Arcadia headquarters. Although Asos will retain operational and creative control of Topshop brands, Nordstrom will own exclusive retail rights to Topshop and Topman across North America. The Asos deal includes final orders for an entire culture of clothing shopping that included locker rooms and coffee shops, a Saturday ritual that ended each week with shopping bags being carried home like trophies on the top deck of a bus.
