What is Dressbarn called now?

When REV took over the Dressbarn website, the company hired four buyers of the former Dressbarn operation, each of them veterans with over 15 years of experience with the brand, said REV co-founder Alex Mehr. However, that doesn’t mean that REV rules out buying in person for Dressbarn customers ever again. Dressbarn’s e-commerce site remains open for business operations during the store closure process and accepts gift cards and merchandise credits through December. Old Dressbarn was a retail chain with 650 stores, with most sales being made in-store rather than online.

In a post-pandemic world, Van Dyke and Mehr see opportunities for Dressbarn pop-up stores to launch new collections or in-store partnerships with other retailers. It now has the advantage that it is not stuck in the outdated infrastructure of the original Dressbarn and at the same time benefits from the recognition of the name and existing brand loyalty.
