However, Topshop and Arcadia’s other brands were slow to adapt to online shopping and faced increasing competition from cheaper competitors such as Asos, H%26M and Primark. Sir Philip Green’s fashion empire Arcadia no longer exists. His famous brands, including Topshop, were founded by online retailers and left behind a ghost chain of 500 stores. It’s now available via the ASOS website and app, and is sold at Nordstrom stores across the US and Canada, as well as on Nordstrom, com. It is yet to be revealed exactly what will happen to the clothing and other goods that are currently available in the 70 Topshop stores across the UK.
