V, founded by Cecilia Dean, began in 1998 as a limited edition magazine and published lifestyle and fashion content on a quarterly basis. Cosmopolitan, popularly known as “Cosmo,” stays true to its name by posting women-centered content everywhere it goes. The brand spread like wildfire and flew off the stands like no other – and it continues to do so.

It got bigger (even though it’s unisexual) and covered a wide variety of columns for women.
